Hall of Legends
141 lives. Connected histories. One journey upward through the achievements, struggles, choices and changing worlds of people who shaped history.
Meet the figures behind the journey
This is the first historical atlas—not yet the finished immersive hall. We're preparing an upward-moving experience with changing environments, interactive portraits and mini-challenges. Explore the figure roster and the chronology under historical review. The connected visual and portrait-placement blueprint is ready to inspect.
Research and historical integrity
We prioritize historians and scholars from Africa and the African diaspora, as well as historical records. Every eventual biography and question will have its own source citations. The sequence below uses preliminary historical activity or contribution dates for placement—not necessarily birth dates. Displayed dates are working labels and still require individual source verification.
Traditional and contested figures are labeled accordingly. The modern illustrations in the uploaded collections are artistic interpretations; they are not automatically historical portraits.
Your story is connected to history.
At the highest end of the journey, we'll explore how knowledge, community and individual choices shape what comes next.
